Raid Loot EV

What is a raid actually worth? Weight your realistic drops by chance, scale by your extraction rate, and get expected value per raid — and per hour, so routes can be compared honestly.

How it works

EV per extract = Σ(dropChanceᵢ × valueᵢ)
EV per raid = EV per extract × extraction rate
EV per hour = EV per raid ÷ (raid time + queue time)

Add or mentally fold in extra drop tiers — the model is linear, so a fourth tier's EV just adds on. Drop chances are your inputs; community tables move with patches. Methodology.

FAQ

What is loot EV?

Expected value: the average loot a raid produces when the same run is repeated many times — each item's value weighted by its drop chance, then scaled by how often you actually extract.

Where do drop chances come from?

Community-documented loot tables and your own tally. They change with patches and map rotations, which is why this tool takes your numbers instead of shipping a stale table.

Why does my EV drop when my extraction rate does?

Unextracted loot is worth zero. Extraction rate scales everything linearly — which is why surviving slightly more often is usually worth more than looting slightly faster. See the raid loot value guide.
